During the summer of 2006 I was fortunate enough to secure an internship at Panasonic in Tokyo, Japan. My project was to design mobile phones that contributed to Panasonic's vision of a ubiquitous future in 2008, 2010 and 2012. This was not only a great chance to see how a design group in a large corporation functions, but to learn more about living and thriving in a foreign country where english is not the primary language. |
