One day is a 24 hour watch designed for Seiko. While I was working late into the night, after being awake for longer than I could remember locked away in the basement of the computer labs at Art Center, I realized I no longer knew whether it was light or dark outside. I felt very disconnected from the world, and suddenly 1:45 AM or PM meant nothing to me. I designed this timepiece as a stylish reminder to get up, and look outside and participate. To tell time the old fashioned way: Is it sunrise, high noon, sunset or midnight? |
